Frome Area Christians Together is an Ecumenical Christian Organisation with representation from most of the Christian Church Fellowships in an area covered by the Frome Anglican Deanery.

Frome is a market town in the Mendip District of the county of Somerset England.

It dates from about 685 AD when St Aldhelm founded a Christian community here. In 1985 Frome 1300 was a celebration of this event. The present close co-operation of the Churches and Fellowships of all denominations I believe really commenced at about that time.

We do not all agree on everything, but in Christian love, we accept one another as fellow believers.

During 2008 we were involved with the Hope 08 Initiative. As a result of this, Hope Frome will continue to work through projects and activities commenced during Hope 08, on a continuing basis. Hope Frome Launch will take place on 25th January 2009 at St John's Church, at the end of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

In the following pages you will find details of individual churches together with a Diary of Events which most of the churches support.

FACT members support a Christian Youth Worker, based at Frome Community College and Holy Trinity Church also employs two part time Youth Workers. All of them work closely together.

Members of FACT Churches and Groups are invited to join an email group which will enable them to inform other members of events and matters of concern in their own Church or Fellowship which they wish to share. Special events can also be posted in the Calendar. The Group Moderator will then update the FACT Events page if appropriate. When applying for Membership of the group, please indicate to which Church or Group you belong.
